Pengaruh Kedalaman pada Budidaya Rumput Laut Kappaphycus alvarezii Menggunakan Kantong

Rumput laut merupakan organisme yang melakukan fotosintesis untuk menghasilkan makanannya sehingga cahaya matahari sangat penting kelangsungan hidupnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kedalaman berbeda pada rumput Kappaphycus alvarezii di tanam dengan menggunakan kantong. Metode digunakan adalah metode eksperimental Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan penelitian terdiri dari 3 perlakuan yaitu P1 (penanaman 35 cm), P2 45 P3 55 cm). Data dianalisis Analysis of variance (ANOVA) kemudian dilanjutkan uji Duncan taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil menunjukan bahwa K. dipelihara selama hari pertumbuhan bobot mutlak, laju spesifik, dan rendemen karaginan secara bertutut – turut berkisar antara 200 295 g, 2.44 3.06%, 30- 40% terbaik Kesimpulan ditanam sistem kantong berpengaruh nyata terhadap mutlak pertumbuahan spesifik tertinggi didapatkan budidaya cm.
